Wood Stove Cooking
|
Cooking on your wood stove is fun for the whole family. You can prepare meals and deserts right on top of your wood stove. When cooking on your wood stove it is extremely important to use cast iron cookware only. Cast iron can take the heat where as other cookware could be permanently damaged. Follow your favorite recipe directions but pay close attention to cooking times and temperatures. If the surface temperature on your wood stove is too hot you can place a cast iron trivet under the pan to create an air space therefore reducing the heat.
